We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join Polpharma Biologics as a Compliance Officer based in Warsaw/Duchnice. In this role, you will manage and report on compliance and GDPR-related matters, reporting directly to the Director of Legal & Compliance as well as the company’s top management.
 
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Designing and implementing compliance programs across Polpharma Biologics companies;
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance;
  • Carrying out risk assessments and compliance reviews to ensure policies and procedures are being followed;
  • Providing guidance, advice, and training programs to improve understanding of laws, policies, procedures, the Code of Conduct, and other relevant regulations, as well as participating in relevant committees;
  • Conducting investigations and managing whistleblowing proceedings;
  • Collaborating closely with the Human Resources department regarding people compliance matters;
  • Collaborating closely with the IT and ESG teams to ensure compliance with relevant legal provisions;

If You have:

  • Master’s degree in law
  • At least 5 years of experience in compliance as an in-house counsel, compliance officer or law firm in matters related to compliance
  • Experience in handling labour law matters will be an advantage
  • Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry will be an advantage;
  • Very good command of Polish and English;
  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business functions and handling heavy workload in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong interpersonal influencing and negotiation skills, and proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of the organization;
  • Excellent critical thinking skills; ability to work through complex issues, including those with significant strategic risk to the company;
  • Proficiency in business software (including Microsoft Office) and compliance management tools.
